I’m Mohamed Yahya. Until recently, I was a computer engineering student at Birzeit University. I graduated in February of 2008. I am now in transition, getting ready to start my master’s studies. At the moment, I work as a programmer at Birzeit University’s computer center.

My family is originally from a village called Inaba, near Ramla, Palestine. They were forced out by the Israelis in 1948 in the “Nakba“. I live in Ramallah, Palestine (you probably heard about it in the news!)

During my 22 years on this planet, I have lived in Palestine, Jordan, Germany and the US. Arabic is my mother tongue. My English is pretty good. As for German, well, I used to be good at it but it somehow slipped away and last time I was in Germany I only used it to order food!

This site is a mixture of Arabic and English (sorry for the confusion). All Arabic posts are filed under the ‘Arabic posts‘ category and all English ones are filed under ‘English posts‘.
